I love gadgets and fitness is a particular passion of mine. What could be more rewarding than a comfortable and efficient way to measure your heart rate while you are working out, than a high-tech sports bra?
Numetrex to the rescue (www.numetrex.com)! USA Weekend (Herald, January 27, 2007) featured an article by Reed Karaim that talked about what is hot this year, and this sports bra and shirt made the cut.
Rather than have a bulky heart sensor attached to some part of your body, you can wear a sports bra that features an integrated sensor right in the bra fabric. The information picked up by the bra is relayed to a watch so that you can track the effectiveness of your workout. The bra comes in three sizes: Small cups from 32-34 A&B, medium from 34C to 36 A&B, and large 36C to 38 A@B.
For men there is a shirt version due on the market soon. Called the Cardio Shirt, it is a sleeveless T-shirt that can be worn alone or as an undergarment.
